New Wallpaper Directory

A lot of people asked me to fix the wallpaper folder on my site. I have recreated it and the images are now sorted by common dimensions. Please remember: I did not create 99% of these. I have just saved them from other places. In many cases I saved a smaller image and made it into a desktop wallpaper size. There are a very small handful that I did make myself, though, so thanks for the compliments on those.

Groggie.com Re-Design To-Do

Here’s what I’m currently working on in order to get the new version of Groggie.com up to speed. It is going to be a long aggravating process like it always is. I’ve neglected my site for so long that I’ve lost most of the daily traffic that I used to get, so I’ll be working on rebuilding that with some high-traffic posts. Hopefully the new layout will better optimize my site for SEO than the last Frankenstein of a theme. I also removed the /blog from the URL because the site is a dedicated blog so there is no need to make it more complicated.

Images on the front page are broken and I don’t know why.
Permalinks need to be reverted back to the default ?p=# or else a 404 error occurs.
Categories need to be updated to reflect new design.
Need to backlog the last year of events.
Decide and edit 3 or 4 featured posts
- Next Our 11th Hour Show
- Latest Our 11th Hour album release
- Latest publication news
Change footer color to match header.
Determine text to add to footer widget.
Update Links page.
Remove certain dropdown pages from front page.
Re-work Google Adsense back into front page and posts.
Create /music directory to allow browsing via apache. Organize by Artist/Album.

Slowly Fixing the Site

We had a server migration a while back which messed up a lot of features on the site. I’ve been very busy with work and Our 11th Hour, and have not had time to dive in and fix everything. I got a bunch of things working today, and I’ll slowly be fixing everything else. I’ll also be going back and adding in posts of things that have happened in the last few months that I was unable to do at the time.

We have been receiving some radio time online. The podcast “Dalecast” played “Falling For You” on Episode 555, and the podcast “White Noise” played “Epilogue” to close out Episode 3. Many thanks to those stations for playing our music as we greatly appreciate the exposure. So, if any other radio stations want some free traffic to your website/podcast/whatever, just play our music and we’ll keep an ear out for it!
