Groggie.com Re-Design To-Do

Here’s what I’m currently working on in order to get the new version of Groggie.com up to speed. It is going to be a long aggravating process like it always is. I’ve neglected my site for so long that I’ve lost most of the daily traffic that I used to get, so I’ll be working on rebuilding that with some high-traffic posts. Hopefully the new layout will better optimize my site for SEO than the last Frankenstein of a theme. I also removed the /blog from the URL because the site is a dedicated blog so there is no need to make it more complicated.

• Images on the front page are broken and I don’t know why.
• Permalinks need to be reverted back to the default ?p=# or else a 404 error occurs.
• Categories need to be updated to reflect new design.
• Need to backlog the last year of events.
• Decide and edit 3 or 4 featured posts
  • Next Our 11th Hour Show
  • Latest Our 11th Hour album release
  • Latest publication news
• Change footer color to match header.
• Determine text to add to footer widget.
• Update Links page.
• Remove certain dropdown pages from front page.
• Re-work Google Adsense back into front page and posts.
• Create /music directory to allow browsing via apache. Organize by Artist/Album.
