After winning two New York State Championships in a row (2007 & 2008) as well as many WGI Percussion Championships in the last four years (2006, 2007 & 2008) the Central Square Field Band of Paul V. Moore High School will be moved up into the National Class to compete against some of the best schools in the Northeast and the country. The promotion was delayed by the conference board but finally became official toward the end of May 2009. The members and instructors as well as boosters and parents look forward to competing in the highest class.
The new look for my site is basically complete. Some minor tweaks here and there but this is it, the new and very much improved site layout. You can find all the same pages as before, though a few have moved to sub-pages of Freelance, Media and Bio. I can also now see the statistics more clearly and it is much easier to traffic visiters to the site through search engines. Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions.
I am being published in the Oswego Historical Review Journal in May of 2009. See the publications page, under media, for more information. I have completed the final editing and have submitted a final draft to be printed by the end of the month. This 34 page research paper is about the Narodna Odbrana and takes a look at one of the more unlikely assassinations in history.
More information to come after the journal is printed and details become available.
After an unfortunate incident at the NYSPC Championships Central Square Percussive Theater at Paul V. Moore High School placed fourth after a ten point penalty due to controversial lighting. An “On the Air” lighted prop was used to compliment the radio themed show for the first time at championships and caused a winning score to become a fourth place score after an undefeated regular season. The group did, however, win the Best Pit and Best Battery caption awards and held their heads high after performing the best show of the season. Congratulations are due for all the members of this group for the outstanding performance as well as the tenacity to applaud ESM, as well as the other groups on their podium victories this Sunday.
Our 11th Hour has completed the writing for the entirety of their first full length album entitled Of Halos & Hand Grenades. The album will feature 11 songs and some bonus tracks. The album is a concept album designed by myself, it features the lives of a young couple falling apart and falling to their deaths for one another. If you’d like to learn more about the concept check us out at a show or, if you just wanna read about it, send me a message and I’ll send you the storyline.
The band’s current full set list includes their entire album as well as some songs planned for their next studio album. Check out the official website for the most up to date information available as well as upcoming show dates!

This is the second year in a row that the group won the top place in this competition and proved that they are able to defend their title as champions.
